The History

Born from a vision and guided by faith, the dream of introducing the CBSE curriculum was first envisaged by the then Director, Rev. Bro. Devasia, along with the Principal of St. Mark’s Boys’ Town High School Rev. Bro. Lawrence D'Souza in the year 2014.

What began as a foresight for holistic and progressive education, this visionary idea through dedication and commitment, was beautifully manifested into reality by the successor Director, Rev. Bro. Thomas, and the Principal, Rev. Bro. Monty, leading to the establishment and giving life to the Montfort School (CBSE) which is named after our founder, Saint Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort in the year 2017, located at Jahanuma in the old city of Hyderabad.

It is managed by the Society of the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel. The school was recognized by the Government of Telangana in the year 2017 and was subsequently affiliated with the CBSE Board in 2019, offering education up to the secondary level.

This significant milestone was achieved under the dynamic and visionary leadership of Rev. Bro. Yesu Prabhaharan, Principal, Montfort School. A dedicated, farsighted, and committed educationist, his tireless efforts, meticulous planning, and unwavering passion for excellence played a pivotal role in shaping the institution and elevating it to new heights.

"Today, that vision stands tall as Montfort School (CBSE) — a beacon of excellence, shaping young minds for the future, a centre of learning where values meet achievements and aspirations take flight."

Under the able and inspiring leadership of the present Principal, Rev. Bro. Edward Raj
